My friend Bernadette (who is also recently a LOL-Lady of Leisure) called Monday morning and said, "Let's rent kayaks and go down the river". What a great idea!!!! We rented kayaks and started a leisurely 2 hour trip down the Chena River. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The trip ends at the Pump House Saloon and we felt we had earned a cocktail after all the drifting we had done.
I once sat in a kayak on land. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteSure. What I didn't say is that the next trip I fell into the river with my camera and new cell phone. I sure do love my new iPhone. :-)
