I was getting out of my car one day and the dog teams were coming my way. Since it's not the norm for most people to see a dog team cruising down a frozen river in the middle of town, I thought I'd post it.

The Looney Bin
I spent the weekend with my dear friends Mike & Bernie at their cabin. We had such a great time and a wonderful weekend. Bernie and I canoed down the creek and Mike was kind enough to pick us up in the boat. Between the gourmet meals and deluxe accomodations, we were hardly roughing it. Sunday was Mike's birthday and we celebrated with a pile of birthday bisquits and gravy with a candle on top.

Alaskan Fishing Dock
Bernie and I spent the day on Friday floating down the Chena. We ran across this elaborate fishing dock. Yep...you're in Alaska.

The Utah Harrops Visit Alaska
Gary and Nancy came from Utah and spent about 10 days with us. We had such a great time with them and did lots of fun things. We took a cruise on the Riverboat Discovery, went to Rika's Roadhouse, spent a few days in Denali, cought a Grizzlies game, and even went to the Santa Clause house so Nancy could sit on Santa's lap.
